“Yellowstone” star bids an emotional goodbye to the set as Season 5, Part 2 prepares to continue without Kevin Costner.

Anticipation is rising as “Yellowstone” Season 5, Part 2 nears its November release, despite the behind-the-scenes drama and Kevin Costner’s departure from the role of John Dutton.

The highly awaited final chapter will premiere on Paramount with six episodes, wrapping up the gripping Dutton family saga.

As production continues in Montana, co-stars and real-life couple Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison have offered fans a peek behind the scenes.

It’s also a farewell for Governor Lynelle Perry, portrayed by Wendy Moniz since the series began. On Instagram, Moniz shared her emotional goodbye after nearly a decade with the show. “Series wrap for me on Yellowstone and been having alllll the feels,” she wrote, expressing her deep sentiment as she closed this chapter.

Moniz reflected on her journey, saying, “Sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few. What a beautiful experience I’ve had here; just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated, and kind people since 2017.”

She continued, “There’s been a lot to reflect on. This place, along with the exceptional individuals who animate it, has often felt like another home to me throughout these past seven years.”

Fans are curious about Governor Perry’s future storyline now that John Dutton will not be featured in the final episodes, especially given their significant on-screen romance. Nevertheless, Perry remains a crucial character in local politics and is expected to play a major role in concluding the series’ narrative.

Messages of support have been pouring in under her Instagram post, including a heartfelt note from Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton. Reilly wrote, “Wendy!!! I adore you… we all do. You have just been so amazing to work with all these years!!! Congratulations.”

While Season 5’s conclusion marks the end of this chapter, “Yellowstone” fans have more to look forward to with the upcoming second season of “1923” and recent buzz about another potential spin-off.
