Kevin Costner Debuts New Song to Aid Hurricane Victims and Offer ‘Refuge’ During Ongoing Storms

Kevin Costner Joins Celebrity Efforts to Aid Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton Victims with New Music

Kevin Costner is the latest celebrity to lend support to victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton through music. The “Yellowstone” star, 69, and his band Modern West released their new song, “Find Your Way,” on Friday, October 11, to assist in recovery efforts amid the ongoing storms.

On Instagram, Costner shared, “Today, @modernwestband and I are releasing our first song in over four years to support recovery efforts for Hurricanes Helene and Milton. You can find the link to donate and download the song in my stories and bio.”

He added, “I’ve experienced seasons of darkness where the lyrics of certain songs helped me through. I hope ‘Find Your Way’ provides that same refuge for anyone struggling to maintain hope.” Listeners can pay what they wish for the song, with all proceeds going directly to @hopeforceinternational, which is actively helping those affected by the hurricanes.

“My bandmates @teddymorganmusic and @parkchisolm collaborated with the incredibly talented @kathigginsmusic on this song. Her background vocals and the beautiful Hammond organ by @sansonica_music brought the magic we needed to make this song feel like the prayer it is,” he explained.

“I hope it resonates with you all, and that you’ll consider purchasing it to support the victims of these devastating storms,” Costner concluded.

The “Field of Dreams” actor joins a growing list of artists contributing to relief efforts following recent natural disasters. On October 7, Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority announced that Luke Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings, and James Taylor will headline the Concert for Carolina, a charity event on October 26 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. The concert will be hosted by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley, with more performers set to be announced.

Additionally, Church recently released his first new song in three years, “Darkest Hour,” on October 4, committing all publishing royalties to the people of North Carolina. Just a week prior, Dolly Parton pledged a $1 million donation to aid Hurricane Helene victims after her home state of Tennessee was among the six states affected.
