“Kevin Costner Lends Support to Victims of Hurricane Helene and Milton”
Kevin Costner recently expressed his support for the victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton by releasing a new song.
On October 11, the “Yellowstone” actor shared the news on Instagram, announcing the release of his song “Find Your Way,” aimed at benefiting those affected by the ongoing storms.
Accompanying a photo of the single’s artwork, Kevin wrote, “Today, @modernwestband and I are releasing our first song in over four years to support recovery efforts for Hurricanes Helene and Milton. You can find the link to donate and download the song in my stories and bio.”
He shared, “I’ve experienced my own seasons of darkness where the lyrics of certain songs provided me with comfort and guidance.”
“I hope that ‘Find Your Way’ serves as a refuge for anyone struggling to find hope during these difficult times,” the 69-year-old remarked.
Kevin emphasized that all proceeds will go directly to @hopeforceinternational, which is actively assisting in the hurricane-affected areas. He also noted, “My bandmates @teddymorganmusic and @parkchisolm collaborated with the incredibly talented @kathigginsmusic on this song. Her background vocals, combined with the beautiful Hammond organ played by @sansonica_music, added the magic we needed to make this song truly feel like a prayer.”
In closing, Kevin encouraged his followers, saying, “I hope this song resonates with you, and I invite you to consider purchasing it to support the victims of these devastating storms.”
