Costner regularly tours as a singer and guitarist with his rock and country band, Kevin Costner & Modern West. The two-time Oscar winner, known for his role in “Dances with Wolves,” recently directed and starred in the first installment of his planned western series, “Horizon.”

Other celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, and the actor couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, have also contributed millions to support the victims of hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Hurricane Milton made landfall in western Florida late Wednesday evening, following the devastation left by Hurricane Helene, which recently swept through the southeastern United States, claiming the lives of over 200 people.
