“Blue Bloods: Farewell to a Family Legacy”
CBS will air a special retrospective celebrating the 14-season legacy of Blue Bloods, titled Blue Bloods: A Family Legacy. This one-hour special will air on November 29 at 9/8c, following Thanksgiving, and will give fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the show’s final season. The special will feature new interviews with the cast and recurring guest stars, who will share their favorite memories, insights, and behind-the-scenes moments from the past 14 years. Hosted by Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner, it will also include archival interviews and serve as a heartfelt tribute to the loyal fans who made Blue Bloods one of the top television series over the years.
The special will provide an inside look at the iconic Reagan family dinner scene, revealing fun family secrets straight from the set. Viewers will learn about the first time the cast gathered around the dinner table during the pilot episode, when they were still strangers, and how it helped shape the series into the global phenomenon it has become. Fans will also hear firsthand from the cast about what it’s like filming in the streets of New York City and get a sneak peek at the emotional finale before the show’s send-off. With just four episodes remaining, including the November 15 episode titled “No Good Deed,” this special will be a perfect way to say goodbye to the Reagan family.
In “No Good Deed,” Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and his nephew Joe Hill (Will Hochman) investigate the murder of a delivery driver with possible ties to a drug ring. Meanwhile, Eddie (Vanessa Ray) works to save a probationary officer’s job, Frank (Tom Selleck) faces a difficult decision involving Gormley (Robert Clohessy) and NYPD residency rules, and Erin (Bridget Moynahan) clashes with D.A. Crawford (Roslyn Ruff) over a case involving a seemingly rehabilitated criminal.
