In the video, Costner is seen working on his laptop in the living room while Bob wanders around with his food dish in his mouth, clearly hoping for another meal. “I know you’re hungry,” Costner tells him, gently reminding the dog that he was fed just 45 minutes earlier.

As Bob pads through the open, sunlit space, viewers get an unexpected look at Costner’s stylish beach home. The room features mid-century modern furniture, a vibrant rug, a cozy fireplace, and large windows framing a lush, green view. Laughing, Costner calls Bob “a beggar” and finally offers a compromise: “A small snack?” he says, half to the camera, half to himself. “He’s working me.”

It’s clear Bob knows how to charm — and he also gave fans a peek at the relaxed, beautiful home where he and Costner spend their time.

Costner is known to own several impressive properties, including a home in Aspen, Colorado, and two in Santa Barbara, California. The beach house in the video appears to be part of the Santa Barbara compound he originally purchased in 1988 during his first marriage to Cindy Silva. That estate, valued around $145 million, includes a main house and two guest houses on 1.4 acres. In 2006, he acquired a second property nearby — a 10-acre waterfront stretch he had planned to renovate but later mortgaged to help fund his Horizon: An American Saga film series. This property boasts private beach access, riding trails, and now, as we’ve seen, one very adorable dog named Bob.
