Kevin Costner is officially single and seems ready to jump back into the dating scene. According to a close source, he’s had a longtime interest in Elizabeth Hurley — a crush that’s lasted for decades, despite her current romance with Billy Ray Cyrus.
The 70-year-old Yellowstone star first crossed paths with Hurley, 60, back in the late ’90s when he was dating her then-roommate, Birgit Cunningham. The source says Costner “always thought she was absolutely stunning.” There was a real connection between them, and rumors swirled that they might have even hooked up, though neither has ever confirmed it.
Since his split from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner — which was finalized in February 2024 after their separation in May 2023 — Hurley has been on Costner’s mind more than ever. The insider reveals he’s confided that if the chance arose, he’d jump at the opportunity to pursue Liz. “He’s still open to dating, and she’s the perfect age and fame level for him,” the source says. “He admires her adventurous spirit and exciting lifestyle.”
