Kevin Costner Attends Jeff Bezos’s Star-Studded Aspen Bash Amid Rumors
Billionaire Jeff Bezos recently hosted a celebrity-filled party at a restaurant in Aspen, Colorado, with actor Kevin Costner among the guests. The event comes shortly after Bezos publicly denied rumors suggesting he planned to marry his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, in Aspen at the end of December.
Australian businessman James Packer and film producer Brian Grazer were also spotted at the gathering. Bezos addressed the swirling marriage rumors directly, calling them “completely false.”
“None of this is happening,” Bezos wrote, emphasizing the importance of skepticism in today’s news climate. “The old adage ‘don’t believe everything you read’ is even more true today than it ever has been. Now lies can get ALL the way around the world before the truth can get its pants on. So be careful out there folks and don’t be gullible.”
He added that it would be interesting to see if media outlets that circulated the false reports would issue corrections once the rumors proved untrue.
Kevin Costner Spotted Earlier Near Jennifer Lopez in Aspen
Costner has been seen making appearances around Aspen in recent days. He was photographed at a local clothing store near singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, who was holding a drink and playfully sticking her tongue out at photographers.
Though they were seen in close proximity, there was no clear interaction between the two. Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from her husband Ben Affleck in August, though the divorce has yet to be finalized. Costner was seen looking at his phone while talking to another person, and there was no sign of Lopez at Bezos’s party.
Costner, who has been divorced twice—most recently from Christine Baumgartner—has garnered attention partly due to the connections between Lopez and Affleck. Affleck previously shared on The Bill Simmons Podcast that he found it “disturbing” that Lopez enjoys watching the TV series Yellowstone, which stars Costner as a Montana ranch owner.
