Kevin Costner Launches New Docuseries on Fox Nation
Kevin Costner is set to star in a new three-episode docuseries on Fox Nation, the streaming platform owned by Fox News. Titled Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner, the series serves as a follow-up to his 2022 project, Yellowstone One Fifty. This new installment will follow the Oscar-winning actor as he retraces the historic 1903 Yosemite expedition undertaken by President Teddy Roosevelt and environmentalist John Muir, exploring the vast American West.
The docuseries is part of Fox Nation’s “America 250” campaign, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States next year. Costner expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Every so often, you come across a story with a truly special combination of elements — stranger than fiction, filled with incredible odds, and one that ultimately changes the world for the better. The story of President Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir’s camping trip through Yosemite is one of those remarkable tales, and I’m excited to explore this next chapter in the preservation of the American frontier.”
Lauren Petterson, president of Fox Nation, praised Costner’s storytelling prowess, saying, “Kevin Costner has a unique talent for capturing the American experience and engaging audiences through his compelling narratives. Following the success of our first collaboration, there’s no better filmmaker to embody the spirit of America 250 than Kevin.”
Costner is well-known for his role in the hit Paramount Network series Yellowstone, although he did not return for its final season. In recent years, he has focused on his original western film series, Horizon: An American Saga, with the first installment premiering last year and the second scheduled to debut at the Santa Barbara Film Festival next month.
