Surprise Appearance by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Alongside Kevin Costner
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made an unexpected appearance at a charity event hosted by Hollywood actor Kevin Costner on Saturday.
The couple surprised guests when they arrived unannounced at the One805LIVE! concert, held at Costner’s Santa Barbara estate on September 20.
Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, looked radiant as they took the stage at the event. Meghan wore a stylish navy halter-neck shirt dress featuring a belt tie and large buttons. She styled her dark hair in soft waves and completed her look with tan heels, staying close to Harry, who recently visited the UK to reconnect with his father, King Charles.
Prince Harry opted for a smart-casual look with dark denim jeans, a matching shirt, and a blazer. Upon arrival, the couple was seen mingling and chatting with first responders attending the outdoor gathering, according to Mirror US.
The festival is described as “an unforgettable evening of music, community, and support for our First Responders.”
One805LIVE! is an annual benefit concert that unites legendary musicians and passionate supporters to raise funds for vital equipment and mental health programs for first responders in Santa Barbara County.
During the event, the Duke of Sussex presented an award to Santa Barbara County Fire Chief Mark Hartwig, while Meghan watched proudly from the sidelines. She later joined Harry on stage as he addressed the crowd.
This marked the couple’s second consecutive appearance at the event. Last year, Harry honored an air support pilot, and the pair also attended the 2023 concert. They reside in Santa Barbara County.
Among the attendees was TV icon Oprah Winfrey, a close friend of the couple who famously conducted their 2021 interview. Oprah was in high spirits, casually dressed in denim jeans, a blue shirt, and a light brown leather vest, as she interacted with first responders.
The event’s entertainment lineup included performances by Trisha Yearwood, Good Charlotte, and The Fray.
