“Kevin Costner to Transform Into Bill Clinton – You Won’t Believe His Role in This UN Drama!”

Kevin Costner is in early talks to portray former U.S. President Bill Clinton in the upcoming political drama series “United.” The project, currently in development, is being produced in partnership with the United Nations, with Costner also serving as an executive producer alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.

The series, written and directed by David Raymond of Night Hunter fame, will highlight real-life stories of humanitarians who risk everything to make the world a better place. Producers include Appian Way, Onwards Studios, and Prime Focus DNEG, with Fifth Season set as the distributor. Raymond has previously collaborated with the UN’s Creative Community Outreach Initiative, even hosting a 2016 dinner for industry leaders on behalf of the organization.

Costner recently directed, co-wrote, produced, and starred in Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1, the first installment of his ambitious four-part epic on the American frontier, which premiered at Cannes in 2024 before hitting theaters in June. Chapter 2 premiered at the Venice Film Festival last year and is awaiting a release schedule.

The Oscar-winning actor is also known for his role in Taylor Sheridan’s contemporary Western series Yellowstone, which ran for five seasons until 2024 on Paramount Networks. Costner earned a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Montana rancher John Dutton before exiting the show during Season 5.

Upcoming projects for the veteran actor include Honeymoon with Harry, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 3, and Headhunters. He is represented by WME and Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro.
