Ahead of New Year’s Eve, Kevin Costner, 70, enjoys a night out in Aspen with his daughter Lily, 39

Kevin Costner was seen enjoying a night out with his daughter Lily in Aspen, Colorado, on Monday, just days before New Year’s Eve.

The 70-year-old actor stepped out bundled up for the cold alongside Lily, 39, as they met up with a group of friends for the evening. Kevin opted for a brown coat layered over a black jumper, paired with light blue jeans and tan shoes. Lily coordinated in a khaki coat and dark jeans, finishing her look with brown ankle boots to add a little height.

She accessorized with green gloves and carried a striped clutch bag to complete her winter outfit.

Lily is Kevin’s daughter with his first wife, Cindy Silva. The former couple were married for 16 years and also share children Joe and Annie. Kevin is additionally father to Liam with ex-partner Bridget Rooney, as well as Cayden, Hayes, and Grace with his second wife, Christine Baumgartner.

Costner appeared to be without his new girlfriend, Kelly, over the festive period. The pair reportedly began dating in August and sparked romance rumors after attending the JAS Labor Day Experience festival in Snowmass Village near Aspen, though they arrived separately.

However, with Kevin back in Aspen for New Year’s celebrations, there is speculation Kelly may also be in town. A source previously shared that the actor is happy and dating again after what was described as a difficult chapter in his life.

According to the insider, Kevin and Kelly spent time together in Aspen in late July and have kept their relationship low-key. The source added that she fits his type and that they share interests such as outdoor activities, sports, and spending time with dogs. Kelly is also a mother, which Kevin reportedly finds endearing, describing her as “chill” and exactly what he needs right now.

The relationship follows Kevin’s finalized divorce from Christine Baumgartner in February 2024, which came after a highly publicized legal dispute. The former couple married in 2004 and share three children. Christine filed for divorce in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences.

As part of the settlement, Kevin was ordered to pay $63,209 per month in child support, significantly less than the $248,000 Christine initially sought. Christine was also required to vacate Kevin’s $145 million beachfront estate in Carpinteria two months after filing.

Christine has since moved on and is now engaged to financier Josh Connor, who proposed earlier this year.

The former spouses were last seen together publicly in June at their son Cayden’s high school graduation in Santa Barbara, where they kept their distance. Despite attending to support their son, the pair reportedly avoided interaction, making it clear tensions remain.

An insider said both parents prioritized Cayden’s milestone, putting aside their differences for the day. While the atmosphere was described as awkward, the source emphasized that Kevin made sure his personal issues did not overshadow the celebration, noting that his children remain his top priority.
