Ben Affleck & Kevin Costner’s Growing Bond: Closer Than Ever
Move over, Matt Damon — Ben Affleck has found an unexpected kindred spirit in Kevin Costner.

Affleck and Costner, who previously worked together on 2010’s The Company Men, have maintained a personal friendship for years. But recent life challenges have brought them closer than ever. Costner finalized a difficult divorce from Christine Baumgartner in 2024 after two decades of marriage, while Affleck’s second marriage to Jennifer Lopez came to an end in 2025.
“They’ve both had rough patches, and in the process, they’ve become each other’s sounding boards,” the source shares. “There’s been a lot of mutual support.”
