Donnie Wahlberg Excites Fans with Thrilling Blue Bloods Update

Blue Bloods Reunion on the Horizon!

Fans were left heartbroken by Blue Bloods’ cancellation in November, but there’s a silver lining: Donnie Wahlberg has confirmed an exciting reunion. The entire cast will come together for PaleyFest in New York on October 17.

The event will feature a special advance screening of one of the show’s final episodes, followed by a discussion with the cast and creative team. Joining Donnie will be Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Vanessa Ray, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, and Kevin Wade.

This PaleyFest reunion will occur just one day before the second part of season 14 premieres on CBS. The new season will consist of eight weekly episodes, though it’s still unclear if this will be the end of Blue Bloods.

Donnie Wahlberg, who plays Danny Reagan, hinted at potential future developments during a New Kids on the Block concert in August. While he acknowledged that the current season might be concluding, he teased that “something awesome” could be in the works. “We filmed what is apparently the last season of Blue Bloods, which starts airing in October. There could be something more coming, but nothing is official yet,” he said.

Reflecting on the show’s end, Donnie shared his emotional farewell after his final filming day in June. He posted a heartfelt video, saying, “Walking away from Blue Bloods for the last time was more emotional than I could have ever imagined. There were tears of sadness, but also tears of deep humility and gratitude. This journey has been incredible, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the best fans, crew, and city. Thank you all for being part of this amazing adventure. Until we meet again.”
