Selleck, 79, portrayed Frank Reagan, with a cast including Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Vanessa Ray, Marisa Ramirez, and Len Cariou. The series, which debuted on September 24, 2010, focused on the Reagan family’s roles in the NYPD and legal system, highlighting their dedication to both their profession and family.

Selleck has expressed his appreciation for the show’s impact, noting it honored the real-life NYPD and underscored the importance of family. As the show wraps up, Selleck is expected to spend more time at his California ranch with his wife, Jillie Mack. The couple looks forward to a quieter life filled with relaxation and travel. CBS has praised Blue Bloods as a cornerstone of their lineup, expressing deep gratitude to Leonard Goldberg for developing the series and to the cast for their dedication.
