Graham Norton Unveils Best and Worst Guests: From Lady Gaga to Kevin Costner

Graham Norton, the renowned TV presenter whose BBC One show returns this month, has candidly shared his experiences with both his standout and least impressive guests.

In a recent revelation, Norton, 61, didn’t hold back in critiquing some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. He described Robert De Niro as “boring” and noted that De Niro’s attempts at storytelling during the show were so lackluster that they had to be cut.

Norton’s comments on Kevin Costner were equally blunt. He recounted how Costner’s demeanor seemed aloof, saying: “I ask him a question and he looks at me like, ‘Jesus, do I have to talk to this man?’ He gave a half-hearted response, and only perked up when Helen Mirren joined in the conversation.”

On a more positive note, Norton praised Lady Gaga for her warm interaction with fans, recalling a heartfelt moment when Gaga showed appreciation for fans who had created dolls of her.

Conversely, Madonna’s appearance left something to be desired, according to Norton. He recalled how, despite fans’ efforts to create dolls of her in various outfits, Madonna’s reaction was less than enthusiastic: “She just said, ‘Those glasses are wrong.’”

Norton’s favorite guest from the last series was Julia Roberts, who appeared alongside Cher and Tom Hanks. Norton described Roberts as the “secret sauce” of the show, noting how she engaged with the audience and kept the conversation lively with her humor and charm.
