“Honeymoon With Harry,” starring Kevin Costner, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Sarah Pidgeon, begins filming in Queensland this April.

Glenn Ficarra and John Requa’s dramedy Honeymoon with Harry, starring Kevin Costner and Jake Gyllenhaal, will begin filming in Queensland this April, with Sarah Pidgeon in talks to join the cast.

The Amazon MGM Studios production will shoot in Brisbane and the Whitsundays. Based on a novel by Bart Baker, the story follows a tough man who is forced to travel with his fiancée’s overprotective father, leading to conflict and an unexpected bond.

The production is expected to contribute about $51 million to the local economy and create over 200 jobs, according to Screen Queensland.
