“Inside Kevin Costner’s $200 Million-Plus Property Portfolio Amid Jennifer Lopez Romance Rumors”

Kevin Costner has strongly dismissed rumors of a romance with Jennifer Lopez, insisting that he is not “looking for anything” right now. So where is the Hollywood star spending his time amid all the speculation?

The 70-year-old “Yellowstone” actor, who has embraced single life since his divorce from Christine Baumgartner, 50, last year, has been linked to several high-profile figures. Recently, rumors surfaced about a possible connection with Lopez, who is 15 years his junior.

These whispers grew louder after Lopez and Costner were seen together during a Christmas getaway in Aspen, CO. The buzz intensified when a 2023 interview with Lopez’s ex-husband, Ben Affleck, resurfaced. In the interview, Affleck expressed his concern over Lopez’s obsession with Yellowstone, leading fans to speculate whether he had foreseen a potential relationship between Costner and Lopez.

However, Costner’s spokesperson quickly shut down the rumors, stating that the actor is not “seriously involved with anyone” and is primarily focused on his “family and friends” at the moment.

So, if Costner isn’t cozying up to Lopez in her $68 million Beverly Hills mansion, where is he retreating to? The answer lies in his impressive real estate portfolio, one that reflects his massive earnings, including a reported $1.3 million per episode for his role as John Dutton in Yellowstone.

Costner’s fortune—estimated at $400 million according to divorce court documents—has certainly been poured into an array of stunning properties. His first major acquisition was a sprawling estate in Carpinteria, CA, bought in 1988. This property became the primary residence for him and his first wife, Cindy Silva, after they married in 1978. Although the exact price he paid for the compound remains unclear, it’s now valued at around $145 million.

The property spans 1.4 acres and includes a main house and two additional homes, all with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. After Costner and Silva’s divorce in 1994, Costner took full ownership of the estate. The compound made headlines again in 2023 after Costner’s divorce from Baumgartner, with speculation about who would stay in the property. Reports indicated that Baumgartner initially refused to leave, settling into one of the smaller homes on the property. Eventually, the couple reached an agreement, and Baumgartner relocated to a $40,000-a-month rental in Montecito, leaving the property to Costner.

In addition to the Carpinteria estate, Costner owns another property just down the street, which he briefly listed for $60 million in 2017.

The actor also recently revealed that he took out a mortgage on a 10-acre waterfront property in Santa Barbara to fund his upcoming film Horizon: An American Saga. Despite the risk, Costner said, “It’s my life, and I believe in the idea and the story,” adding that it had given his accountant quite the shock.
