Kevin Costner Dating New Lookalike Girlfriend Who Loves Surfing

She’s exactly his type — outdoorsy, sporty, and yes, she surfs.

Kevin Costner has gone public with his new girlfriend, Kelly Noonan, a 46-year-old who not only bears a strong resemblance to his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, but seems to come with a crucial upgrade: a deep love of the ocean.

Surfing, it seems, is the magic ingredient. Take your average man. He wakes up, heads to work, comes home, has dinner with his family, watches Netflix, and falls asleep. Now wedge “goes surfing” between “wakes up” and “heads to work,” and suddenly he’s not so average anymore. He’s just… more.

Same goes for Costner’s ex. Christine Baumgartner — smart, successful, beautiful — couldn’t quite hold on to the Dances with Wolves star. But enter Noonan, nearly identical in appearance, just with “surfer” added to the résumé. And just like that — romance.

The resemblance is undeniable. Both women are blonde, 20 years younger than Costner, and share similar features. But Noonan’s edge? She’s water-obsessed. She surfs, paddleboards, and wakeboards. Her Instagram is full of bikini-clad shots around Malibu and Lake Michigan with her kids. “Water is my medicine,” she writes. She even trains in lakes and the sea. It’s not just a hobby — it’s a lifestyle.

“She is exactly his type and they have a lot in common: the outdoors, sports, long walks with dogs,” a source said. Add “surfing” to that list and suddenly it all makes sense.

So maybe, just maybe, if Christine Baumgartner had taken up surfing, that 20-year marriage might still be intact. Instead, she was replaced by a newer model — one that glides across waves.

Could Costner’s time filming Waterworld have planted this deep-rooted love for aquatic athleticism? It wouldn’t be a stretch. And speaking of Waterworld, did you know surf legend Laird Hamilton was nearly lost at sea while working as a stunt double for the film? While riding a jet ski from Maui to the Big Island, he was blown off course — 60 miles from shore, nearly out of fuel, and with nothing but time to reflect until the Coast Guard rescued him. All thanks to a location beacon he wisely brought along.

David Lee Scales and I didn’t talk about Kevin Costner during our weekly chat, nor his extensive filmography. But we did dive deep into our own disappointments. Maybe next week we’ll talk surf, Costner, or both.
