Kevin Costner Embarks on a Journey Through America’s History
Kevin Costner is delving deeper into the significance of Yellowstone National Park in his upcoming docuseries, Yellowstone to Yosemite. The three-episode documentary, set to premiere on Fox Nation, follows the success of his 2022 project, Yellowstone One Fifty.
In a statement, Costner reflected on the incredible story he is about to explore: “Sometimes, you stumble upon a tale that feels almost too extraordinary to be true—one that happens against all odds, yet changes the world for the better. And most importantly, it’s a real story. The camping trip of President Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir through Yosemite is one such story, and I’m eager to uncover more about the preservation of our American frontier.”
The first episode will premiere on February 8, focusing on the 1903 expedition where President Roosevelt and renowned environmentalist John Muir explored Yosemite. Costner’s storytelling prowess will bring the history of the American West to life.
Fox Nation President Lauren Petterson praised Costner’s ability to capture the essence of the American experience: “Kevin Costner has a unique gift for telling stories that resonate deeply with audiences, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our ‘American 250’ campaign, celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary next year.”
Petterson also expressed her excitement for the new project, noting, “With the success of our first collaboration, there is no better storyteller than Costner to embody the spirit of America 250.”
