Matchmaking duo on the loose! Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are reportedly stepping in to help their longtime friend Kevin Costner find love again.
According to insiders, the Hollywood power couple would love to introduce Costner to one of their Aspen friends. The only hiccup? Costner’s not exactly the mingling type.
“Kevin’s a workaholic and a bit of a perfectionist,” a source shared. “He doesn’t really enjoy socializing just for the sake of it. But Kurt and Goldie are like everyone else who cares about Kevin—they want to see him happy, and if they can help in the romance department, they absolutely will.”
Hawn, 79, Russell, 74, and Costner, 70, have maintained a strong friendship for over two decades. But it wasn’t always smooth sailing.
“In the ’90s, Kevin and Kurt were fierce rivals,” the source explained. “But by the end of that decade, something shifted. They started talking about collaborating, and the friendship has endured ever since.”
Costner’s personal life has been in the spotlight, especially following his split from Christine Baumgartner. The two were married in 2004 and finalized their divorce in February 2024 after separating in May 2023. They share three children: Cayden, 18, Hayes, 16, and Grace, 15.
Since then, Costner has been linked to singer Jewel, though he’s shut down any romance speculation.
“Jewel and I are friends. We’ve never dated,” he clarified in a June 2024 interview. “She’s special to me, and I don’t want rumors to ruin that. Our friendship means a lot.”
