Kevin Costner had a strong feeling there was something going on between his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner and their neighbor Josh Connor before their romance was made public.

Baumgartner was spotted with Connor last summer before the divorce was finalized, though the insider insists the relationship only became romantic “relatively recently.”

During a court testimony in August 2023, Baumgartner maintained that she and Connor were just friends, even though they had been photographed together on a trip to Hawaii. She also confirmed that Connor had loaned her $20,000, half of which she gave to her mother, and that she returned $10,000 to him.
By September 2023, Costner and Baumgartner’s divorce was finalized. Sources noted that while tensions remained after the lengthy legal battle, they were trying to maintain a cordial relationship for the sake of their three children: sons Cayden, 16, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 13. Costner also shares children with his previous spouses: Annie, 39, Lily, 37, and Joe, 35, with ex-wife Cindy Silva, and Liam, 28, with ex Bridget Rooney.
