“Kevin Costner Hosts Charity Bash at $26 Million Property with Pink and Cameron Diaz”

Kevin Costner opened his home for the 2024 One805 Live event on Friday, September 21, raising funds for emergency responders. The charity fundraiser took place on his stunning $26 million polo fields near Santa Barbara and featured appearances from stars like Cameron Diaz, Zoe Saldana, Rob Lowe, and Pink.

Costner, a seasoned musician with his band Kevin Costner & Modern West, surprised attendees with a live performance to kick off the evening. He shared emotional memories of visiting Santa Barbara as a child in the late 1960s, recalling a time of social change. “We were going to the generation of change, and we didn’t get there, but we tried,” he reflected. He described the atmosphere of that era, mentioning young people returning from Vietnam, and expressed a desire to play some of the songs that impacted him as a teenager.

Rob Lowe, a spokesperson for One805, posed with local emergency responders backstage before presenting an award during the event. Prince Harry was also in attendance, honoring local helicopter pilot Loren Courtney with an award.

Meghan Markle was not present this year, although both she and Prince Harry attended the previous year’s event, where Costner expressed his gratitude for their support.

Cameron Diaz and Zoe Saldana kept the mood light, joking about the presence of police officers and firefighters, with Saldana teasing that Diaz might “be looking to get arrested.” They introduced Pink, praising her unique talent, as she headlined alongside Dallas Green, with performances from Kenny Loggins, Joe Bonamassa, Richard Marx, and the Santa Barbara Symphony.

Tickets for the event were priced at $150 per person, with VIP cabanas for up to 12 guests available for $20,000 and outdoor tables for $7,500.
