Kevin Costner Makes a Triumphant Musical Comeback for a Worthy Cause
The world knows Kevin Costner as an acting icon and Oscar-winning director, but he also has a passion for music that he shares with friends. When he’s not starring in films or hit shows like Yellowstone, Costner enjoys playing country rock with his band.
Recently, at a charity concert, he shared insights on keeping love alive, revealing that he once served as Whitney Houston’s bodyguard, both on and off-screen.
Now, under the name Kevin Costner & Modern West, he’s making waves again. After a four-year hiatus, they’ve returned with new music, and it’s for a meaningful cause.
Costner has launched a “pay-what-you-want” initiative for their new single, “Find Your Way,” with proceeds going to support victims of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. He expressed on Instagram, “I’ve experienced dark times where the lyrics of songs helped me persevere. I hope ‘Find Your Way’ offers that same solace to anyone feeling lost.”
He encouraged fans to contribute whatever they can, noting that all funds will directly support @hopeforceinternational, which is actively aiding those affected by the hurricanes. Costner also praised his bandmates Teddy Morgan and Park Chisolm, as well as the talented Kathiggins for her contributions to the track, highlighting the enchanting Hammond organ played by Sansonica Music that added the perfect touch.
“I hope this song resonates with you, and that you’ll consider purchasing it to help those impacted by these devastating storms,” he added.
