“Kevin Costner Makes New ‘Deep-Sea Diving’ Career Move Amid Reports He’s ‘Furious’ Over Brutal Exposé”

Kevin Costner Pursues Deep-Sea Treasure Hunt After Explosive Exposé Sparks Outrage

Kevin Costner has reportedly embarked on a deep-sea treasure hunt following the release of a scathing exposé that has left the Oscar-winning actor “furious” and “deeply angry.” The article, which paints him as “impossible to work with,” has stirred significant backlash—and Costner isn’t taking it lightly.

From Hollywood to the High Seas

Amid the controversy, Costner has thrown himself into a new passion project: uncovering sunken treasures in the Caribbean. According to sources, the actor recently discovered gold coins and emeralds during a diving expedition and is now developing a TV series centered around global treasure hunts.

“He’s on a deep-sea diving binge,” one insider revealed. “He’s hoping to turn these adventures into a series that takes viewers on a journey to find lost treasures around the world.”

While no network has officially signed on to finance the show, Costner is actively shopping the project around to potential backers.

A Lifelong Interest in Exploration

Costner’s fascination with underwater exploration isn’t new. He previously revealed plans to start an exploration venture with underwater archaeologist Alex Mirabal. Earlier this year, the two visited Havana, Cuba, where they toured the Castillo de la Real Fuerza Museum and its renowned nautical archives. The visit was part of a broader effort focused on an underwater archaeological project, though details remain under wraps.

During the trip, Costner even met with Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, who later released a statement praising the actor’s appreciation of Cuban history and architecture. The president also invited Costner to visit Santiago de Cuba, a region known for its rich underwater heritage.

Backlash from a Damaging Exposé

At the same time, Costner is reportedly reeling from a recent article that portrayed him in a highly negative light. “He’s said to be furious over the story,” a source close to the actor shared. “He feels it completely misrepresents him.”

Among the allegations was a supposed on-set clash with actor Wes Bentley during the filming of Yellowstone in Utah. The article claims that Costner, as executive producer, tried to override creator Taylor Sheridan’s script, leading to a heated confrontation. According to an insider, the tension escalated to a near-physical altercation before the two were separated.

Allegations of Difficult Behavior in Hollywood

The exposé also alleges that Costner has developed a difficult reputation in Hollywood. It cites a history of unpaid debts, including a lawsuit over unpaid costume fees, and claims of ignoring advice from directors—even industry giants like Steven Spielberg.

Sources claim Costner has clashed with numerous co-stars, including Clint Eastwood, Kurt Russell, and most recently, Wes Bentley. “There are people who say they’ll never work with him again,” one industry veteran shared.

‘Horizon’ Struggles to Gain Traction

Adding to Costner’s challenges is the underwhelming performance of his ambitious Western epic, Horizon. The first installment of the planned four-part saga debuted in theaters to poor reviews and disappointing box office numbers.

With Chapter Two yet to secure a release date and Chapters Three and Four still unfunded, the future of the project remains uncertain—further complicating the actor’s standing in the industry.
