“Kevin Costner Offers Exciting News on Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 3”

“Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1” hit theaters in June as the first installment of a planned four-part epic directed and starring Kevin Costner. Despite its ambitious scope, the film struggled at the box office, grossing only $34 million and receiving mixed reviews—49% from critics and 70% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. This underperformance led to the postponement of “Chapter 2,” while “Chapter 3” entered production in June.

Costner, undeterred by these setbacks, shared his enthusiasm for the project: “I love the journey of this thing. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I love this movie. Chapter 3 is even harder than the first two, and Chapter 4 will complete the story. I’m committed to bringing these giant stories to people and hope they fall in love with these characters.”

He added, “Sometimes, the things you create don’t resonate immediately. It’s only after they’re completed that people start to connect with them. I’ve shot some of Chapter 3 already and plan to possibly shoot them back to back next spring.”

“Horizon: An American Saga” is set during the U.S. Civil War and features an extensive cast including Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, and many others.
