“Kevin Costner Stuns in Style at Venice Film Festival Following Divorce from Christine Baumgartner”

Kevin Costner arrived at Marco Polo Airport on Monday, heading straight to the Venice Film Festival. The 69-year-old actor and director appeared upbeat as he boarded a water taxi to the island city.

Costner was dressed in a stylish beige linen shirt and matching trousers, complemented by a light jacket and oversized black sunglasses. He’s in Venice for the premiere of his film Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter Two, scheduled for Saturday.

The epic Western, which Costner directed, produced, and co-wrote, also features Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, and Jena Malone. It’s the second installment in a planned four-part series exploring the American West, following the release of Chapter One in June. However, the first film faced critical backlash and poor box office performance, leading to an indefinite delay for Chapter Two’s theatrical release. Costner funded the project himself, investing $38 million from his own pocket and even taking out a loan against his Santa Barbara home.

Costner, who shares children Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 13, with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, divorced her earlier this year in February. He also has children Annie, 40, Lily, 36, and Joe, 36, with ex-wife Cindy Silva, and a son, Liam, 26, with ex Bridget Rooney.

In April, singer Jewel praised Costner as a “great person” during an Elle interview but acknowledged the intense public interest in their relationship. Photos of the two together, including one where Jewel was seen sitting on Costner’s lap, sparked speculation. A source told TMZ at the time that there was a noticeable chemistry between them, although they tried to keep things discreet.

In May, Jewel addressed the rumors again in a People interview, stating, “I found love, and I’m not talking about Kevin’s. I’m so happy, irrelevant of a man. It has nothing to do with being in a relationship or not being in one. I’m just happy.” She reflected on her dating experiences, including her brief fling with Sean Penn, and emphasized that she values personal fulfillment over fame.

Jewel married rodeo cowboy Ty Murray in 2008, but they divorced in 2014 and share a son, Kase, 12. Meanwhile, Costner’s ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, has moved on and is currently dating Josh Connor, with whom she was linked earlier this year.
