“Kevin Costner Supports Hurricane Milton and Helene Relief Efforts, Reflecting on ‘Seasons of Darkness'”

Kevin Costner Gives Back Through Music

Kevin Costner, known for his role in “Yellowstone,” is lending his support to victims of hurricanes Helene and Milton by releasing his first song in over four years. Along with his band Modern West, Costner’s new track, “Find Your Way,” aims to provide solace to those affected.

In an Instagram post, Costner shared, “I’ve experienced seasons of darkness where the lyrics of songs helped me persevere. I hope ‘Find Your Way’ offers a similar refuge for anyone struggling and losing hope.” He announced that all proceeds from the song will be donated to Hope Force International, an organization actively assisting in hurricane-affected areas. “I hope this means something to you, and that you’ll consider purchasing it to benefit the victims of these terrible storms,” he added.

Costner is among several celebrities stepping up for hurricane relief. Taylor Swift recently donated $5 million to Feeding America, which is providing aid to affected communities in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The organization expressed gratitude for Swift’s contribution, highlighting its importance in helping communities rebuild and recover.

Dolly Parton also joined the relief efforts, donating $1 million of her own funds, with Dollywood contributing an additional $1 million to The Mountain Ways Foundation. Country music star Eric Church announced that he would be donating all publishing royalties from his new song, “Darkest Hour,” to support recovery efforts in North Carolina.

Church, along with Luke Combs, bluegrass musician Billy Strings, and legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor, will participate in the “Concert for Carolina” on October 26 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. This event aims to raise funds for those affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
