Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine Baumgartner is reportedly dating their former neighbor, Josh Connor.
The ‘Yellowstone’ star, 68, finalized his divorce from Christine, 49, in September after a contentious dispute over her residence in his mansion, child support payments, and allegations that she had removed valuables from their family home before leaving.
According to sources, handbag designer Christine has moved on from Kevin with financier Josh Connor, who was previously a neighbor and friend of the couple.
A source revealed to People: “Josh was initially just a friend. Christine enjoys spending time with him. He’s a divorced dad and understands what she’s been through.”
Christine and Josh are also said to have connected over their shared love for “the ocean and beach life,” which reportedly brings Christine happiness.
In July, as Christine and Kevin were engaged in their divorce proceedings, Christine and Josh were seen vacationing together in Hawaii. Although photos showed them strolling along the beach, at that time, there were no confirmed reports of a romantic relationship.
About a month later, Kevin claimed in court that Christine’s “new boyfriend” had given her $20,000 in cash and argued that he should not be required to pay more than $129,000 per month in child support due to her financial situation.
Christine and her legal team denied the romantic involvement with Josh during her court testimony.
Meanwhile, Kevin Costner has reportedly been recuperating from the divorce battle by enjoying time on Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. A source told Page Six that Kevin attended the Necker Cup, an exclusive pro-am tennis event, and appeared “in high spirits and more focused on looking to the future” rather than reflecting on his split from Christine, with whom he was married for 19 years.
