Kevin Costner’s Next Project After ‘Horizon’ is ‘Headhunters’
Kevin Costner is already eyeing a new project following his work on Horizon, titled Headhunters.
Horizon has been a significant undertaking for Costner, who even financed the film himself. This saga explores a 15-year span in the Old West, focusing on the buildup to and aftermath of the Civil War. Costner is set to direct and star in all four films of the series, though only the first installment is currently available. The release of the second part was initially planned for August but was canceled due to disappointing box office performance of the first film.
Headhunters follows a man’s quest to find the perfect surfing wave. However, after assembling a team to search for it off an unmapped island, they encounter challenges far beyond catching waves.
According to Deadline, Costner will not only star but also co-produce the film. Steven Holleran will make his directorial debut with this project, having previously worked in cinematography on films like Missing and Sympathy For The Devil. So far, Daniel Zovatto is the only other confirmed cast member alongside Costner.
