“Lane Kiffin Welcomes Kevin Costner to Oxford for a Special Ole Miss Football Event”

A celebrity made an appearance at the Ole Miss football game on Saturday.

Actor Kevin Costner was in attendance to watch Ole Miss (6-2, 2-2 SEC) secure a 26-14 victory over Oklahoma. Before the game, he enjoyed tailgating in The Grove.

Costner met with coach Lane Kiffin, who shared a photo of their encounter on his X account (formerly Twitter), captioned, “If you build it, they will come,” a playful reference to Costner’s iconic role in “Field of Dreams.”

In addition to “Field of Dreams,” Costner is known for his performances in “The Untouchables,” “Bull Durham,” and the hit television series “Yellowstone.”
