Netflix Fans Urged to Watch ‘Outstanding’ TV Drama as New Episodes Finally Release

A month after the epic Western series Yellowstone wrapped up, it will now be available to stream on Netflix in the UK.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, this American series debuted in 2018, with Kevin Costner starring as John Dutton III, the owner of Montana’s largest ranch. The show ran for five seasons, exploring the family drama surrounding the ranch, the neighboring Broken Rock Indian Reservation, Yellowstone National Park, and land developers.

Though the first season received mixed reviews, Yellowstone gradually developed a loyal fanbase, with many now calling it “one of the greatest shows of all time.” The series holds an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, where fans have described it as a “must-watch.”

“Yellowstone is an amazing TV show that will keep you on the edge of your seat with its intense storyline and outstanding performances,” one fan shared. Although Netflix has yet to make an official announcement, the series is expected to arrive on the streaming platform soon.

Currently, Netflix lists Yellowstone as “coming January 30,” but it’s unclear how many seasons will be available right away.

The full series is available on Paramount Plus, which offers a similar subscription cost, but Netflix’s availability will likely broaden the show’s reach. Last year, Netflix had 17.3 million subscribers in the UK.

Yellowstone also stars Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, and Kelsey Asbille. The show has already spawned two prequel series—1883 and 1923—both of which follow the Dutton family. Two more prequels, 6666 and 1944, are in development, along with a sequel series titled The Madison, set to air later this year. This series will follow Michelle Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn, a wealthy matriarch who relocates her family from NYC to Montana after the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.
