Susan Sarandon and Kevin Costner Make Elegant Appearance Together
Susan Sarandon Reunites with Kevin Costner 36 Years After Bull Durham, Sharing a Stylish Moment at the Venice Film Festival
Susan Sarandon and Kevin Costner reunited after 36 years since their iconic film Bull Durham premiered, and their warm friendship was on full display as they held hands at the Better World Fund Gala during the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 5.
Susan dazzled in a sleek black jumpsuit featuring a plunging neckline, cinched at the waist with a stylish belt that beautifully accentuated her figure. She complemented the look with bold chunky gold jewelry. Kevin kept his look classic yet relaxed, wearing a black suit with a waistcoat and white shirt, opting for an open collar without a tie.
Susan shared her excitement on social media, saying, “Such an honor to receive an award from this amazing organization @better_world_fund. And a double treat to spend time with my dear friend and fellow honoree, @kevin_costner.” She also mentioned attending the premiere of Kevin’s latest film, Horizon: Chapter Two.
Kevin responded warmly on his own channels, posting a photo of the two sitting closely on a couch, with him wrapping his arms around Susan. “There’s nothing like catching up with an old friend. Great to see you, @susansarandon — we’ve come a long way since our Bull Durham days,” he wrote.
The Better World Fund, held at the Cipriani Hotel, is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for humanitarian efforts and sustainable development through the arts. Susan was honored at the event for her contributions.
Bull Durham, released in 1988, stars Kevin as “Crash” Davis, a seasoned catcher for the AAA Richmond Braves, who is brought in to mentor a rookie but finds himself captivated by Susan’s character, Annie, a passionate groupie.
