“Tom Selleck, 79, Shows Off Bushy Beard in Casual Look Amidst ‘Blue Bloods’ Cancellation”

Tom Selleck, 79, stepped out in Thousand Oaks, California, on Tuesday, showcasing a significantly different look from his 80s heyday. The iconic TV star, best known for his role in Magnum P.I., sported a bushy beard and casual attire, including a plain navy T-shirt, a matching linen shirt, and black trainers.

Selleck’s rugged appearance, including a full beard, made him look quite different from his classic TV persona. His recent public appearance raised concerns among fans, especially after he was spotted earlier this month leaving a gym with noticeable vertical scars on both knees. Speculation has arisen that these scars could be from recent knee surgery, possibly explaining why he appeared to have difficulty walking.

Tom Selleck has not publicly addressed any recent surgeries or health issues. Last summer, his representative denied claims from RadarOnline that he was suffering from a ‘secret medical crisis’ which allegedly required him to use a stunt double while filming Blue Bloods. The rep also debunked rumors from The Daily Star about him battling ‘crippling arthritis,’ affirming that Selleck was in ‘excellent health.’

Selleck expressed his disappointment over Blue Bloods ending after 14 seasons, a role he cherished as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan. Following the show’s cancellation by CBS at the end of last year, Selleck has returned to his Ventura, California ranch to spend time with his wife and daughter. Although filming has concluded, fans can still look forward to seeing him in the final season of the show, set to air in October.

Despite the show’s end, Selleck remains a beloved figure, with fans eagerly anticipating the conclusion of his popular role.
