“Tom Selleck Faces Risk of Losing Ranch Due to Work Struggles”

Tom Selleck is facing concerns about potentially losing his California ranch if he can’t continue working.

The “Blue Bloods” star has expressed worry about retaining his 63-acre Californian property if his popular show gets canceled. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Tom explained that although he has accumulated significant wealth over the years, maintaining such a large ranch comes with substantial costs.

“Hopefully, I’ll keep working enough to hold onto the place,” Tom said. “While I’m financially secure, a 63-acre ranch presents its own set of financial challenges.”

At 79, Tom is reacting to reports suggesting that “Blue Bloods” might conclude after its 14th season. He finds this surprising given the show’s strong ratings.

“We’re the third-highest scripted show on broadcast TV,” Tom noted. “We’re leading the ratings for the night. All the cast members are eager to return.”

Despite a successful six-decade career, Tom admitted he still feels anxious about job security.

“As an actor, there’s always a sense that every job could be the last,” he shared. “I appreciate the fact that there are no excuses—just the work.”

Tom emphasized his dedication to his craft and his desire to keep working. “I have deep respect for what I call ‘the work,’ and I love it. I want to keep doing it.”
