“Tom Selleck Ready for New Ventures as Blue Bloods Concludes”

It’s official: Blue Bloods will wrap up with its 14th season. The final chapter will unfold in two parts—starting on February 16 with the first half of the season, and continuing in the fall with the remaining episodes. While the end is on the horizon, fans and the show’s cast are not quite ready to say goodbye.

Tom Selleck, who stars as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan, recently shared his thoughts with TV Insider, expressing his reluctance to see the show end. “CBS will find an awful lot of people aren’t ready to say goodbye to it,” Selleck noted. “The show’s more popular than ever, and I think interest will continue to grow this year. We’re certainly not out of ideas.”

As the series approaches its conclusion, viewers can look forward to seeing the entire Reagan family back in action: Donnie Wahlberg as Danny, Bridget Moynahan as Erin, Will Estes as Jamie, and Len Cariou as Henry Reagan. Vanessa Ray, who portrays Jamie’s wife Eddie Janko, and Andrew Terraciano, who plays Danny’s youngest son Sean, will also return for the show’s final episodes.

While Blue Bloods might be nearing its end, Tom Selleck is far from retiring. He’s currently working on his memoir, You Never Know: A Memoir, set to release on May 24, and is hopeful about finding time to continue his work on the Jesse Stone film series. “I’m not counting the days so I can do something else,” Selleck said. “I love the work. Sometimes the hours are a little harder because I’m older, but so what? I want to work as long as they’ll have me.”
