Tom Selleck Resigns from NRA Board
Tom Selleck, the star of CBS’s Blue Bloods, has officially resigned from his position on the NRA board of directors, as confirmed by his publicist to Reuters today.
“Tom Selleck has stepped down from the NRA board due to his work commitments,” Annett Wolf stated. She emphasized that he continues to be a member of the nonprofit gun rights organization.
While details about the board membership can be scarce, reports indicate that Selleck was the top vote-getter in the 2017 elections. The NRA board includes several media personalities, such as former Fox News host Oliver North, who is set to become the organization’s next president.
The Trace was the first to report this news, noting that Selleck has been an NRA member since the age of 8 and has served on the board since 2005.
