“Tom Selleck Stands Firm: CBS Faces Pressure Over ‘Blue Bloods'”

Tom Selleck Voices Concerns Over ‘Blue Bloods’ Cancellation Rumors

Tom Selleck, star of Blue Bloods, has expressed his frustration over rumors of the show’s cancellation, which have also sparked outrage among fans. The actor is facing the possibility of losing his beloved California ranch as a result.

In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Selleck addressed the future of Blue Bloods and made a strong statement to the network. “I believe CBS will come to their senses. We’re the third-highest show on broadcast and consistently perform well. The entire cast is eager to return. We’re delivering quality episodes and holding our ground,” he remarked.

The Blue Bloods Season 14 finale is set to air in two parts, with the first half debuting on May 10. However, fans are growing increasingly worried as reports suggest CBS may not renew the show for a 15th season, instead focusing on new crime dramas like the upcoming Sheriff County, slated for the 2025-2026 season.

Selleck’s concerns extend beyond the show itself. He revealed that the potential loss of Blue Bloods could jeopardize his 63-acre ranch in Ventura County, California. “Hopefully, I can keep working to maintain it,” he said, acknowledging the financial pressures. “If I stopped working, yeah, that would be an issue. Am I set for life? Sure, but not with a 63-acre ranch!”

Having starred in Blue Bloods since its debut in 2010 as New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan, Selleck made it clear he’s not ready to retire and loves his craft. What are your thoughts on the cancellation rumors surrounding Blue Bloods?
