“Tom Selleck Unrecognizable in Casual Look with Full Beard and Shorts After ‘Blue Bloods’ Cancellation”

Tom Selleck was recently spotted looking quite different in a casual outfit and a bushy gray beard, just months after CBS announced the cancellation of Blue Bloods. On Tuesday, the 79-year-old actor was seen in Thousand Oaks, California, sporting a loose black T-shirt, a navy blue button-down shirt, and black athletic shorts. He completed his look with black socks, sneakers, and an unkempt gray beard.

The Three Men and a Baby star was also seen enjoying a McDonald’s burger while strolling across a parking lot. Known for his iconic clean-shaven look and large mustache, Selleck’s new appearance is a departure from his usual style.

This change in appearance follows CBS’s decision to cancel Blue Bloods, a move that Selleck has publicly criticized. Despite the show’s strong performance as one of the top-rated broadcasts, CBS decided to end it. Selleck expressed his disappointment, stating, “I still believe CBS will come to their senses. We’re the third-highest show in all of broadcast and we’re winning the night. All the cast wants to come back. We’re doing good shows and still holding our place.”

The first half of Season 14 of Blue Bloods concluded in May, with the second half scheduled for this fall. CBS has been making significant changes to its lineup, shifting its focus to new programming. One of the new shows, Sheriff Country, a spinoff of Fire Country, is set to air in the 2025-2026 season. The show features Morena Baccarin as Sheriff Mickey Fox, who investigates crimes in a small town.

The decision to prioritize new shows over Blue Bloods sparked backlash from fans, with many criticizing CBS for canceling the popular series in favor of a spin-off that has not performed as well in the ratings.
