“Tom Selleck Urges Fans to Reconnect with ‘Blue Bloods'”

Tom Selleck, the star of CBS’s enduring series Blue Bloods, has publicly urged the network to rethink its decision to end the show after its 14th season.

In a recent interview with CBS News, Selleck expressed hope that CBS might reverse its decision, saying, “I still believe that CBS will come to their senses.” He praised the show’s impressive performance and enduring popularity, emphasizing that it remains a top-rated scripted series and consistently attracts strong viewership. Selleck also mentioned that the entire cast is eager to return, adding, “All the cast wants to come back. We’re not sliding off down a cliff; we’re still producing quality episodes and maintaining our place.”

Selleck, who has portrayed Commissioner Frank Reagan since the series began in 2010, remains optimistic despite the network’s stance.

However, CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach has confirmed that Blue Bloods will indeed conclude after its 14th season. During the announcement of the network’s new schedule, Reisenbach acknowledged the cast’s appeals but reiterated that “all shows have to come to an end.” She emphasized that refreshing the network’s lineup is a crucial factor in this decision.
