While he’s been a mainstay on “Blue Bloods” for many years, which is concluding its 14th and final season this year, Selleck’s generosity dates back to his days on the 80s hit show “Magnum P.I.”

Selleck had such deep appreciation for his “Magnum P.I.” cast and crew that he personally gave them bonuses out of his own earnings. Although the network awarded Selleck a bonus, the rest of the team was not similarly recognized. In response, Selleck decided to share his bonus, giving every cast and crew member a $1,000 check.
