“Tom Selleck’s Health Update: Clarifying Arthritis Rumors and More”

Tom Selleck is set for a bustling 2024. Alongside finishing the 14th and final season of Blue Bloods, where he has portrayed New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan since the show began, Selleck will also release his memoir, You Never Know, on May 7.

Writing a memoir is a notable departure for the famously private actor, who prefers to spend his downtime with his wife, Jillie, on their 63-acre ranch in Ventura County, California. Selleck admitted he was initially hesitant about writing the book, stating, “I don’t have the hooks that a lot of people do. I didn’t rehabilitate myself or have this tragic life. I’ve had my share of ups and downs, but I’ve been very fortunate.”

One topic that has sparked curiosity among fans is Tom Selleck’s health. Recently, there have been tabloid reports about his condition. A July 2023 article cited anonymous sources claiming that Selleck was suffering from severe arthritis, to the extent that he reportedly required a stunt double for even basic actions like getting out of a car. However, Selleck’s representatives have dismissed these claims, affirming that the actor is “fit and vigorous.”
