Tom Selleck’s Rep Confirms: “He Is In Excellent Health” Amid Health Rumors
Tom Selleck’s representative has refuted claims about the actor’s health, stating he is “fit and vigorous.”
An insider had allegedly reported that Selleck is grappling with a secret medical issue, which has led him to use a stunt double while filming Blue Bloods. The source claimed, “Tom’s in a lot of pain and agony. He’s consulted doctors and learned techniques to manage the discomfort, but it’s a condition that isn’t going to disappear. He’s doing his best to adjust.”
The insider also suggested that Selleck’s pain has necessitated the use of a stunt double for regular scenes on Blue Bloods.
This isn’t the first time Selleck has faced health rumors. Previous reports from The Daily Star suggested he suffers from “crippling arthritis” that affects his vision. However, his representative has consistently denied such claims, affirming that Selleck is in “excellent health.”
Regardless of these health speculations, Selleck’s work schedule remains busy. He recently completed filming Season 13 of Blue Bloods in April, with the show already renewed for another season. Co-star Donnie Wahlberg expressed his gratitude on social media, stating, “I can’t tell you how fortunate I am to work with such an amazing cast and crew, nor can I ever properly express my gratitude to them and to all of you — our loyal fans and viewers! On to Season 14!”
