“Tom Selleck’s Ultimate Creamy and Cheesy Tuna Melt”

I may not have a Ferrari, live in Hawaii, or solve high-profile cases with two Doberman Pinschers at my side. Instead, I drive a Camaro, live in Florida, and write food articles with my Siberian Husky by my side. So, while I’m not living the life of Tom Magnum from Magnum P.I., my reality might just be a Florida-Man twist on the classic ’80s series.

Sure, one could argue that Miami Vice is the Florida-Man equivalent of Magnum P.I., but James Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs couldn’t hold a candle to Tom Magnum’s Hawaiian shirt game. Admittedly, I’m not much of a seamster myself, but what I can do—true to my role as a food writer—is recreate the sandwich inspired by the actor who brought Tom Magnum to life: Tom Selleck.
