“Waves of Danger: A Surf Thriller in Hawaii”

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Academy Award winner Kevin Costner is set to begin pre-production on his latest film in Hawaii next month, according to reports.

The surf thriller, titled “Headhunters,” is primarily set in Bali, Indonesia.

At 69 years old, Costner will take on multiple roles as the writer, producer, and lead actor.

He portrays an American expatriate residing in Bali who gathers a team of surfers to embark on a quest for the “perfect wave.” Their adventure takes a thrilling turn when they discover an uncharted island guarded by an ancient tribe of headhunters.
