Plot Overview:
Set in 1859, two surveyors stake their claim in Arizona’s San Pedro Valley, marking the land that will become Horizon. However, this territory is far from uncontested. Years later, an Apache tribe led by Pionsenay (Owen Crow Shoe) launches a fierce attack on the settlement, leaving much of it in ruins and many settlers dead. Frances Kittredge (Sienna Miller), a mother of two, survives and must now navigate the harsh realities of displacement and survival. Meanwhile, Ellen Harvey (Jena Malone) flees a violent past, carrying her infant while being hunted by the dangerous Sykes brothers, Caleb (Jamie Campbell Bower) and Junior.
