Kevin Costner Embraces Single Life Amid Rumors and Speculation
Kevin Costner appears to be enjoying his newfound freedom following his high-profile 2024 divorce from Christine Baumgartner, which ended their 18-year marriage. Now back on the market, the Yellowstone star has become a subject of ongoing speculation in Hollywood’s dating scene.
Despite rumors linking him to singer Jewel and whispers of flirtations with Jennifer Lopez and Sharon Stone, Costner remains officially single — and seemingly unbothered by the chatter. Most recently, the 70-year-old actor was spotted on May 3 at Raspoutine Night Club in Los Angeles, where he was seen speaking with a mystery woman. Sources say the exchange appeared friendly, not romantic, and he ultimately left the venue with club owner Alexander Ghislain, not the woman seen in the video.
This isn’t the first time Costner’s personal life has drawn media attention. In December 2023, he was photographed looking cozy with Jewel during a charity event on Necker Island, sparking romance rumors. Costner, however, quickly shut down the speculation.
“Jewel and I are friends,” he clarified. “We’ve never gone out, ever. She’s fantastic, she’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship — because that’s what we have.”
He also pointed out that other guests, including Emma Watson, were present during that weekend, further dismissing any suggestion of a romantic connection.
“I’ve had conversations with [Jewel] over text — she’s incredibly smart and has been through a lot herself. We have a friendship, not a romance,” he explained. “She’s beautiful and smart enough for all those things — it just has never happened for us.”
For now, it seems Costner is content to keep things casual and enjoy life on his own terms — while letting the rumors swirl around him.
