And just this past weekend, there he was again, sitting between Cher and Jenna Ortega at the SNL50 anniversary show.

Social media has been buzzing about his sudden omnipresence. Fans couldn’t help but fixate on his straight-faced reaction to Cher belting out “If I Could Turn Back Time.” Later in the night, Costner’s expression during a Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni joke had much more going on.
